Why switch to shampoo bars?

By 2050, there will be more plastic in the sea than fish if we don't all do our bit to reducing the plastic we buy, consume and recycle.

Using a plastic free shampoo bar is one of the many ways you can cut down on household waste.

Every year, plastic equivalent to 1million London buses gets dumped in the sea, according to Friends of the Earth.

Shampoo contributes to an estimated 17million plastic bottles being produced in the UK each year*

We wanted to start to change the conversation, making a shampoo bar with shelf appeal every inch as beautiful as any bottle.

Many bars we tried left us with dry, brittle scarecrow hair, or they fell apart in the shower, or they just smelled a bit weird!

So we set about creating a bar with ingredients and packaging that made more sense to us. Most importantly, we wanted to make a bar that works to leave your hair shiny, soft and manageable.

Shop our shampoo bar now.
