Looking to start 2021 in a more sustainable, eco friendly way? A great place to start is with the products you buy for your home. Try starting out with some of this list of our fave eco friendly products...
1. Smol
This is a British brand that we found and love on Instagram - they sell refillable washing up liquid and laundry capsules by post. They've launched a plastic free version too.

2. Akt deodorant, £18
Set up by West End actors, this cool London brand was alongside us on the list of Bazaar's Best in Beauty Awards 2020. We're fan-girling them in a major way on Instagram and they use fab scents, no plastic and no aluminium.
3. TOTM Organic
Bid farewell to plastic and harsh chemicals in your period care this new year and make the switch to TOTM Organic's ultra comfortable organic cotton range.
Make the switch to tampons, pads and liners made with organic & biodegradable materials. Plus, get them conveniently delivered to your door in line with your menstrual cycle.
We especially love the fab bright packaging! TOTM organic, from £2.70
4. Spectrum Beauty Brushes
This Wales based, sister led company halved the plastic they use in 2018 and are certified vegan and cruelty free. They also give 1% of their revenue to plastic free charities. Yay!
5. Delhicious
Another of our Instagram brand buddies, the gorgeous range of Delhicious tea scrubs smells AMAZING.
6. Sustainable knickers from Stripe and Stare
Lots of undies are made from heavily bleached cotton or synthetic, sometimes plastic based, fibres. Ew!
Stand aside for Stripe and Stare, our new favourite knickers from UK female founders. Made from TENCEL™ Micro Modal, an amazing eco-friendly fabric that's made with wood pulp from sustainable tree farms. You can even buy a Nut and Noggin shampoo bar with a heart shaped pair of their knickers! It's win-win!
7. Face Halo
Every Face Halo make up remover pad saves 500 disposable cotton ones being made. This makes so much sense to us, which is why Face Halo is busy taking over the make up removals world!
This list was compiled by Nut and Noggin, an award winning British brand of shampoo bars and soap.
